Beautiful location and property! Highly recommend if you're ok with a shared accommodation space. Positive: Views are stunning looking over the lake, and the place has a great cozy vibe to it. The hosts are super friendly, and they have the most amazing dogs. I was out sightseeing quite a bit and didn't spend much time there, but the shared spaces allow for meeting and chatting with other travellers, which may or may not work for you. I enjoyed it. Negative: The place is up on a hill and requires a bit of an uphill/downhill walk to the bus stop. It's nothing extreme or problematic, but if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. Or just Uber.

Great atmosphere, stunning views, very relaxed and friendly

Our visit to Queenstown would not have been the same had we not stayed at Ora Retreat! Positive: The owner of Ora Retreat was incredibly friendly, kind, welcoming and accomodating. Additionally, we were able to meet other travellers and have a wonderful time talking with them which lead to some fun adventures we might not have otherwise had. The breakfast options were wonderful. The view was SENSATIONAL!!! It was great to have Yoga mats to use with a lake view! The bathroom was clean with great toiletries. Negative: We unfortunately had some very noisy guests right next to us in our interior room, but that is not something the owners could control. Too bad as otherwise it was a comfortable bed and room.
