Ora° Retreat Tui Cabin Cozy Forest Escape

Most definitely a retreat! We could not have been happier with our stay. Positive: Guests are invited to make their own breakfast from a wide selection available in the kitchen. Anything from the fridge, bread/toast, eggs, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. Kaari, the host, made us feel so welcome in her home, which is a beautiful property, up on the hill in Sunshine Bay, overlooking Cecil Peak on Lake Wakatipu. We would love to have stayed there for a week!

Absolute favorite Positive: An absolute favorite of our New Zealand trip, Queenstown's hidden gem. We enjoyed everything - from the wooden cabin surrounded by trees, the terrace with a mountain view, the cozy kitchen (the only place that had an airfryer in the equipment!), as well as the overall atmosphere of the place. Respect for the ability to create it all. Negative: Sometimes it can take longer to find parking, especially if you don't have a small car.

Positive: Great location, away from the busy city centre but still easy to reach by bus. Everything was very clean, and the room was cozy and surrounded by trees. The owner also provided some basic food items, which made it possible to prepare breakfast.

Positive: Everything was perfect with our stay. The room was lovely, toilets super clean, kitchen and shared areas were immaculate and views were amazing! The staff in particular made the stay stand out to us. Such welcoming people, made us really feel like you’re in a home away from home! Negative: I wish I’d have stayed longer!
